保育士の役割

見守る保育の特徴のひとつ、保育士の役割分担ですが、クラスによって多少異なりますが、０．１歳児クラスでは、「リーダー」 「サブリーダー」 「セッテｲング」に分かれ、一週間交替でやっています。このような形をとることで、その立場になってみて気づくことや、反省をして次へのステップになることなどがあります。
例えばセッテｲングは、直接子どもと関わることは少ないですが、保育に必要な準備をしながら、冷静に子どもたちの様子を見ることが出来ます。どんな遊びに夢中になっているか。次こうすれば、もっと遊びが盛り上がるのではないか。こんな手だてをしてあげれば、もっと出来るようになり、認めてあげて自信をつけてあげられるのでは。 など。その時思ったことを、次の担当になった時に実行したり、他の先生にも伝え、良い方向へもっていくことが出来ます。 また､交替でやることで「どの先生に対しても信頼関係を築くことができる。」という経験を積んでいます。それが誰とでも仲良くできる・・・という一種の自信みたいなものになったら・・・と思います。
